The Hotel Quattro Fontana
rises in the original site of the first "casino" of the
Lido built by the aristocrat Daniele Pisani in 1573-1755. Later on
the casino became a tavern. Among its guests there were the famous
poet Robert Browning. During the 20th century, the original
structure of the building merged with touches of the more delicate
an in vogue chalet style. The original fifteenth century fireplace
was left untouched, while much of the furniture and decorations of
the ceilings belong to the 20th century.

The interior of the new inn contained 20th century furniture, some
head "boiseries", coffered ceilings decorated with rosettes,
valuable candelabra, and wrought-iron lamps which probably come from
the foundry of Master Bellotto. The Hotel
